As part of an international team, you will work on the most advanced and trendy streaming technologies and have the chance to work with leading OTT software companies.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop an Android & Android TV Player supporting the latest technologies, extending and optimizing our player capability with new technologies such as low latency or new subtitles formats.
  • You will follow best practices to ensure the highest quality in our lifecycle deliveries.
  • Development will be made in cooperation with other engineers at NexPlayer as well as with our customers. Customer orientation is key.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer or Software Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of Java, Git, Bash  
  • Experience creating static libraries
  • Experience with Android TV Applications
  • At least one published app on the play store
  • Experience working with CI / CD Tools
  • Problem-solving skills and team working
  • Business level English
  • Experience with Git (including LFS) and JIRA (or similar solutions)
  • Must be fluent in English (C1 at least)

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge in video player development and streaming industry specifications such as DRM, streaming protocols, etc., is highly desired
  • Video streaming knowledge
  • Familiar with ExoPlayer
  • Experience working with AWS
